Online Lessons

Hi everyone, here you can find some practice ideas to keep your drumming in shape.

This is how the videos are divided, so everyone can find a way to practice according to their level, age and kind of gear they have access to:

TUTORIALS – they cover fundamental concepts, theory and technique. Mostly intended for beginners, but also very useful as a resource for more advanced drummers to go back to, to refresh the basics and reset possible bad habits.

LESSONS – Each one is divided in three parts

1- No Drums (for those who have nothing to practice with…just use your body!)
2- Pad (for those who have a rubber pad to practice with)
3- Kit (for the lucky ones who have access to an acoustic or electronic drumkit)

Every part starts with a simple idea that develops into more advanced exercises, so drummers of every level can get something out of each video.

When possible, together with the video links I will share downloadable notes, which may be hand-written, pdf music scores and when possible MuseScore project files. Those last files you can open with the Free music notation software MuseScore to play the exercises, modify tempo and notes and much more, to better study and keep track of your notes. You can download it for free HERE

Please keep in mind I am very new to this and there’s no budget behind the production of the videos. They are intended to help students from Drums a GoGo and Dr.Paradiddle’sWonderDrumporium staying active and interested during Lockdown periods, and by no mean to compete with any professional youtube channel.

Feedbacks and requests are very welcome so please get in touch may you have any…or even just to say hi!

Have fun and feel free to share the following videos with other fellow drummers.

Stay safe guys, we’re gonna drum together again soon!!
